Europe’s AgTech in 2025: Expansion, Partnerships, and Applied Innovation

In 2025, AgTech activity in Europe has been marked by steady diversification across research, commercialization, and international collaboration. Greenhouse and CEA technology providers such as KUBO, Van der Hoeven, and Grodan expanded through new partnerships and projects in the Middle East and North America, focusing on climate-controlled production and knowledge exchange. Companies including Signify, Priva, and Source.ag continued to develop digital and automation tools, supported by ongoing trials aimed at improving yield and energy efficiency. In crop protection and biologicals, Amoéba, Biotalys, and Micropep Technologies advanced regulatory and R&D milestones, while firms like Rijk Zwaan and BASF introduced new crop varieties and inputs to address evolving production needs.

Partnerships across the region increasingly involve collaboration between research institutes, corporates, and investors, often extending beyond Europe. Syngenta announced projects with SALIC, Taranis, and PepsiCo, while Delphy, BIOPHI, and Dutch Greenhouse Delta pursued initiatives linking European expertise with international markets. Companies in regenerative agriculture, such as Agreena, Klim, and TotalEnergies, launched new digital tools and carbon programs to support data-driven land management. Overall, European AgTech firms continue to broaden their global presence through export agreements, research collaborations, and targeted digital deployments, reflecting an emphasis on practical scalability and regional partnerships.
